Office space planning

The renovation of this attorney office in Campinas, in an area of 660m² and a team of 98 employees, was an opportunity to create an environment that promote efficiency, collaboration, and comfort.

Starting from the project concept, we decided to keep the existing ribbed slab exposed. To improve acoustic comfort, we installed a lowered gypsum ceiling and cloud acoustic ceilings in various colors and shapes. We also left all the ceiling infrastructure exposed, using electrical trays.
The first step of the renovation was planning the layout. We divided the space creating distinct zones for different types of work: formal meeting rooms for client privacy; a collaborative area for coffee breaks; work areas; administrative offices; and internal meeting rooms.

The areas for the six partners are more private, with individual desks and equipped with comfortable furniture suitable for the employee’s needs. The two secretaries were strategically positioned to facilitate workflow and communication with the partners and clients.

For the six administrative staff and other employees, we designed an open space work environment to promote collaboration and interaction. In this case, half of the company works on a “plug in, plug out” system, so we installed platform desks and shared workplaces to allow for greater flexibility.

In this renovation, we included several meeting rooms equipped with cutting-edge technology, such as video conferencing and audiovisual resources. We designed the rooms to accommodate both formal meetings and informal gatherings, along with colorful phone booths for private meetings, which are important for the office’s dynamics.

We incorporated collaborative spaces, such as coffee break areas, which are essential. They provide a place where employees can relax or have informal conversations, stimulating creativity and teamwork.

We alternated wood-patterned vinyl flooring with gray carpet and vinyl, marking the different areas and circulation paths.
Through elements like art frames, plants, and designer furniture, we humanized the environment and made it more welcoming. Additionally, the lighting was carefully planned, utilizing a combination of natural and artificial light to create a pleasant and productive atmosphere.
This new space will not only reflect the identity of the office but also contribute to the success and productivity of the team.
